## Summary

SkyStream Release 01 is a conventional-RGB fixed-camera sky-video corpus for
hard-negative mining, false-alert audits, domain-shift evaluation, and
small-object tracking analysis. The source corpus is not publicly hosted.

## Appropriate uses

- External false-trigger and specificity audits for conventional RGB sky cameras
- Hard-negative mining across aircraft, birds, insects, cloud, foliage, sensor
  artifacts, and ambiguous streaks
- Domain-shift testing at an unseen fixed-camera site
- Track-level analysis of small-object and ambiguous-motion systems
- Optical C-UAS, wildlife/wind, atmospheric-camera, and optical-space-monitoring
  evaluation where the stated modality limits are acceptable

## Limitations

- One fixed conventional-perspective RGB camera and one undisclosed site
- Event-selected data, not a continuous-hours false-alarm denominator
- No verified drone-positive or UFO class and no support for a drone-recall claim
- No thermal, radar, RF, audio, fisheye, or calibrated meteorological stream
- No species-level wildlife labels or verified satellite/meteor ground truth
- Exact time, location, source paths, and identifying context are withheld from
  public materials

It is evaluation-only and grants no training, redistribution, publication,
production-use, or source-corpus rights.

## Independent stress check

A stock COCO-pretrained TorchVision Faster R-CNN ResNet-50 FPN V2 detector was
run without SkyStream training or tuning on the frozen privacy-redacted test
split. At a score threshold of 0.25, it triggered on 37 of 122 reviewed-negative
images (30.3%) and matched 5 of 273 narrowly mapped COCO-comparable boxes at IoU
0.50 (1.8%). None of the 66 reviewed-negative detections was centered inside a
privacy mask.

This is an image-only generic-model diagnostic, not an operational false-alarm
rate, buyer-model score, or drone-recall claim. See the full
